dwellings design services involve creating the new space plans and renderings that help depict the overall design including demo and placement of new walls, cabinetry, lighting, plumbing, finishes, furnishings, appliances, accessories and the like. Existing design components (furnishings, equipment etc.) are considered and incorporated. Where furniture, lighting or other components are to be customized, dwellings provides specific design drawings and will secure bids for the cost of those items.
Overseeing any necessary construction remodeling is provided as an optional service.
Managing the final installation of other components is integral to accomplishing the design.
Sourcing and Procurement
Once the final design is approved, it’s time to select the specific design components and determine which ones will need to be sourced. We start by selecting vendors and suppliers who can provide the items whether by manufacturing, building or simply delivering goods that are already on the market. The options for each component are presented for final approval.
In procuring the sourced items, dwellings will provide cost comparisons, secure design proofs, place orders, establish delivery schedules and coordinate the logistics for final installation.
